Installation & Troubleshooting Guide
Only follow this guide if your order email says Fecurity.
Wrong product? ChangeOriginal Windows 10/11 in UEFI mode only
Fecurity runs only on original Windows 11 (builds 22000–26200) or Windows 10 (builds 19041–19045) in UEFI BIOS mode, with an Intel or AMD CPU. Modified Windows builds with Hyper-V removed cannot run it.
Where your key goes
Fecurity launcher
Enter it in LAUNCHER.exe; your PC then restarts automatically.
No website needed. Do not enter this key on undetek.com or any other website.
Before You Start (Required)
- Supported Windows & CPU: Use an original (unmodified) Windows build: Windows 11 builds 22000–26200 (any edition) or Windows 10 builds 19041–19045 (Pro recommended). Only Intel and AMD CPUs are supported. Custom Windows builds with Hyper-V or EFI/Boot Manager components removed cannot run the software. See System Requirements.
- Secure Boot Off: Type
msinfo32in Windows search, open System Summary and check Secure Boot State. It must be Off or Unsupported. If it is On, disable it in your BIOS (guide). - Virtualization On: In
msinfo32→ System Summary, Hyper-V - Virtualization Enabled in Firmware must say Yes (a Virtualization-based security line instead is also fine). If not, enter your BIOS and enable SVM Mode (AMD) or Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel). Guide. - UEFI BIOS Mode: In
msinfo32→ System Summary, BIOS Mode must be UEFI. Legacy (non-UEFI) mode prevents Fecurity from launching. How to switch from Legacy to UEFI. - Fast Startup & Hibernation Off: Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Power Options → Choose what the power buttons do → Change settings that are currently unavailable → untick Turn on fast startup. Then open Windows Terminal (Admin) and run
powercfg /h offto turn off hibernation. Guide. - Visual C++ Runtimes: Install both Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables: vc_redist.x86 and vc_redist.x64.
- Windows Defender Exclusions: The launcher is protected with VMProtect and Code Virtualizer, so Windows Defender may flag it as a trojan. Fecurity advises not to remove Defender. Add your drives to exclusions instead: Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder, then select each drive. Or run
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'C:\'in PowerShell (Admin) for each drive letter. Guide. - Uninstall Conflicting Software: Completely uninstall FACEIT Anti-Cheat, Riot Vanguard and any third-party antivirus from Control Panel (Add or Remove Programs).
- Enable an Overlay: Fecurity needs one of two overlays: Discord (Settings → Activity → Game Overlay → enable the overlay; Legacy overlay must be OFF) or Medal.tv (install and open Medal, then Settings → Overlay tab → enable it). Guide.
- Game Display Mode: Launch Deadside once without the software and set the display mode to Borderless or Windowed. Fullscreen is not supported.
Download & Launch
- Download the Launcher: Open the official Fecurity Loader Links Telegram channel and click Deadside. In the MEGA folder that opens, right-click LAUNCHER.exe → Download… → Standard download. Always use the newest build: after each game patch Fecurity posts the required build date in its news channel.
- Close All Games: Make sure Deadside and its game launcher are completely closed before you open the Fecurity launcher.
- Open LAUNCHER.exe: Open LAUNCHER.exe. On the first launch a virtualization prompt may appear: check that virtualization is enabled and press Yes. If the prompt keeps coming back, press Cancel and continue to the key.
- Your key goes here Enter Your Key: Paste the license key from your GCS Cheats order (it starts with
FEC) when the launcher asks for it and press ENTER. The key is activated in the launcher, not on a website. - Automatic Restart: After the key is accepted, the launcher restarts your PC automatically. Wait a few seconds for the reboot.
- Launch the Game: After the restart, launch Deadside. An in-game overlay notification confirms a successful launch.
